This 1978 Porsche 911SC has been restored in the Style of the legendary 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7. This major restoration started in 2018 and to date has cost €92,000. The outcome is spectacular, not just in looks but in performance and how it drives. Mechanically the car is still powered by the rebuilt original 3 litre SC engine, with an output of 180Bhp and it’s mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.
Documented history is so important with classic cars. This particular 911 has the best documentation I’ve seen in a very long time. Starting with almost every MOT from 1985, a fully stamped service book, and most importantly fully detailed invoices over the years. Of most importance is the restoration works that started in 2018 and at €92,000 the works were substantial and covered bodywork, paintwork, engine, gearbox, suspension, wiring everything has been attended to.
This is so much more than a typical G-Model and while it certainly isn’t a Carrera RS it’s an incredible driver's car that's ready to be enjoyed immediately.
