1988 Porsche 911 by Paul Stevens

€285,000

This 1988 Porsche 911 was created to celebrate a decade of the legendary Le Mans Classic, and this Paul Stephens 911 Le Mans Classic Club Sport is a stunning reinterpretation of Porsche’s most iconic era. Officially licensed by Le Mans Classic and limited to just ten individually numbered examples worldwide, this hand-built masterpiece fuses classic 911 design with modern precision engineering, capturing the spirit of endurance racing and grand touring in one beautifully balanced package.

In Touring specification, this 911 offers an amazing blend of performance and comfort. Beneath its lightweight, hand-finished body lies a chassis honed for driver engagement, with a kerb weight of just 1,070 kg, enabling exceptional agility and performance. Power delivery is both responsive and refined, propelling the car from 0–60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 170 mph. Built to evoke the golden age of Porsche while delivering modern-day usability, it’s equally at home on open roads or concours lawns.

At the rear there is a 3.4 liter air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine with 300 bhp. The intake system comes from the GT3 RS, the programmable ECU is mapped in house and camshafts, crankshaft, conrods as well as the lightweight flywheel are made to RS-specs. Power transmission to the rear wheels is provided by Getrag’s G50 five-speed gearbox and a mechanical limited-slip differential, allowing a spurt from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 175 mph.

The cabin showcases Paul Stephens’ meticulous craftsmanship, with every surface finished to an exceptional standard. ST-style touring seats are upholstered in black leather with Le Mans Classic houndstooth inserts in green, black, and white, complemented by hand-stitched leather panels, green boucle floor mats, and bespoke Le Mans Classic details throughout. A luggage box replaces the rear seats, emphasizing its touring credentials, while thoughtful touches like heated rear glass, electric windows, and central locking add day-to-day practicality.
