This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 220TE is in show winning condition and with less than 79,000 miles, is barely run in. It’s a rare “pre-facelift” model with the classic front grille and the more refined and powerful multivalve engine, making it well able for modern driving.
The exterior of this 124 is outstanding. The paint has a deep shine and only a few, almost noticeable age related marks. The bumper corners are virtually unmarked and the coloured sections of the bumpers and side trims are in the correct satin finish and the “8 Hole” alloy wheels are perfect.
The interior is in wonderful condition. The seats and carpets show little to no age related wear. The wood trim on the centre console is unmarked with no cracks in the lacquer. All electrical equipment works exactly as it should.
The engine bay is as impressive as the exterior and interior. When you open the bonnet, it’s impossible not to be amazed with how well this car has aged.
On the open road, these 124 Mercedes are as refined as any modern car. Quiet at motorway speeds, effortless on the worst of roads and above all comfortable for the driver and passengers.A
